Shhh. Don’t tell the boys it’s a fairy tale. The LA Times says Disney is trying to widen its appeal by retooling their classic formula to attract more boys. After a poor box office performance for the studio’s latest animated feature, “The Princess and the Frog,” executives decided that boys just don’t want to see movies with the word “princess” in the title. Disney’s next project is the story of Rapunzel, which will be released under its new, boy-friendly name “Tangled” later this year.
