Diana Lingerie Ads Cause British ‘Snit Fit’

Written by Pat's Papers | Thursday, 2 September 2010 5:58 AM

According to the New York Daily News, the British are having a “snit fit” over some racy ads featuring a Princess Diana lookalike. The Chinese lingerie company behind the ads, Jealousy International, released a new line of bra and panties named Diana to coincide with the anniversary of her 1997 death. The ads feature a model, clearly meant to be Diana, in her bra and underwear, holding a cello and gazing at a child. So far, there’s been no comment from the royal family.

The UK’s Daily Mail calls the ads and their tagline, ‘Feel the Romance of British Royalty’, “bizarre.”
