Cops Stop Driver with Dead Body in Passenger Seat

I didn’t know I had a dead body in the passenger seat, officer. That’s what a Texas man told cops, after they pulled him over for driving without his headlights. On further inspection, the officer saw the driver had a bloody face and the windshield was partially inside the car. Oh, and there was a “body in the passenger seat, partially underneath the dashboard, with a severed leg” says the Houston Chronicle. From what cops surmise, the driver (who was intoxicated) hit a man on the freeway and then failed to stop despite the fact that the crash victim’s lifeless body had flown throw the windshield and into his car. Police recovered the victim’s license plate from the man’s car, along with his severed leg.
