College Gardens Grow More than Just Veggies

Ideas aren’t the only thing growing on college campuses these days. The Boston Globe says student gardens are becoming par for the course at schools around the country. Promoting both sustainable agriculture and healthy eating, proponents say the benefits reach beyond the plate: Engineering students help design greenhouses, English students raise vegetables popular during the renaissance and aspiring poets use the gardens as a place of inspiration.
