Was Chris Brown faking it? The Internet was alive with commentary after the singer’s breakdown at a BET Award’s tribute to Michael Jackson. The LA Times says it wasn’t clear whether Brown, who was considered a protege of Jackson’s, was sincerely overwhelmed with emotion or if it was a staged plan to win sympathy after his public problems with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
