Casual Text Leads to Murder Plot
Written by Pat's Papers | Friday, 23 July 2010 8:27 AM

Text messages tend to sound cavalier by nature. But if their subject is plotting the murder of one’s husband, that cavalier attitude becomes chilling. The Philadelphia Inquirer prints the back and forth between a woman accused of plotting to poison her husband and her 21-year-old lover who is accused of committing the crime. The pair is on trial for allegedly poisoning the man’s lemon Snapple and then burying him behind a local high school. The text conversation, obtained by police, show the couple planned the murder for days and discussed their plans as casually as someone might make dinner plans.
