Brooklynized Water Fight

The myth that local tap water is the secret ingredient in New York’s famous bagels and pizzas has reached Florida, where two eateries are suing each other because each claims it invented technology to ‘Brooklynize’ their water, says the Sun Sentinel. Both companies use a water treatment system that strips impurities out of the local water and then “reinsert[s] those nuances that make it Brooklyn water.” Apparently, another famous Brooklyn export hasn’t caught on: the concept of ‘fuggedaboutit’.

Also, I’m wondering if by “nuances” they are referring to this scary study about what actually lives in the Gowanus Canal. That would be gonorrhea, cholera and lead among other things.
