Be Wary of Health Care Credit Cards

The latest way to pay for expensive medical care you can’t afford is to put it on a heath care credit card. But beware says the Washington Post. The health care lending industry is being investigated by several Attorneys General around the country for “deceptive and sometimes fraudulent practices.”  Specifics are hard to come by and interests rates can be as high as 25 percent.  One of the problems is that people often don’t know they are signing up for a credit card and instead think they are providing financial information to work out a payment plan with the doctor.
