Can Women Have it All?: Atlantic Story Goes Viral

An Atlantic magazine story has gone viral, says the Washington Post, and women everywhere “are taking to the Internet to freak out” about it. The subject? Can Women Have it All?—‘all’ being a family and a career. Written by a 53-year-old former State Department official and mother of two, the author’s conclusion is that no, women can not have it all. As one of the 119,000 people who liked the story on Facebook put it: “If it can’t work for her, how will it ever work for us lesser mortals?”
