Apple Knew About Reception Issues, Released iPhone 4 Anyways

According to the Wall Street Journal, Steve Jobs knew about the iPhone 4’s antenna problems almost a year ago, but he liked the design so much he went ahead and developed the phone anyways. Also contributing to Apple’s reception problems is the fact that they didn’t allow wireless carriers enough time to test the phone. Apple is holding a press conference later this morning to address the problems but insiders say it is unlikely that a recall will be issued.
