Mach Six Flight The Longest Ever
Imagine flying from New York to Los Angeles in 46 minutes. The LA Times says that might be a possibility someday if all goes well tomorrow, when aerospace engineers test the X-51A WaveRider, an unmanned, experimental aircraft. The WaveRider will be attached to the wing of a B-52 bomber until 50,000 feet, where it will begin a 300-second flight at Mach 6—the longest on record.
Seeking: Cyber Maid
If your online reputation is getting a bit soiled, you might want to consider hiring a “cyber maid.” Services include posting flattering comments on Yelp and issuing press releases to replace negative Google results with positive ones. It’s the latest trend to hit our digital life, says the Sun Sentinel, and it’s not exactly cheap. Prices range from around $2,000 up in to the five digits for constant monitoring.
Jennifer Aniston Gets Engaged
Not sure Jennifer Aniston would enjoy this New York Post headline. Describing the actress’s dating history as “Pitt-or-miss,” the paper reveals that Justin Theroux proposed over the weekend—and Aniston said yes.
