Swiss Finance Minister Has Giggle Fit

For proof that sausage-related double entendres are universally funny, you’ve got to check out this video of Switzerland’s finance minister giving a speech about cured meats.  It doesn’t really matter what he’s saying, his fit of giggles is funny in any language.

According to the Guardian, the subject of Hans-Rudolf Merz’s meltdown was importing B?ndnerfleisch, an air-dried beef product. Apparently, he found the bureaucratic language the bill so funny, he couldn’t help but giggle in front of the parliament. I love that his audience’s reaction is to start clapping.
