Springsteen Subs for Bono in Times Square

Written by Pats Papers | Tuesday, 2 December 2014 9:32 AM

With U2’s Bono still recovering from his Central Park bicycle crash, Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin filled in at the World AIDS Day concert in Times Square.

Here’s the full video, including Martin on “Beautiful Day” and Springsteen on “Where the Streets Have No Name.” It was fun to see the big-name substitutes, but I’ll take Bono back as soon as he’s healthy.

The concert was a fundraiser for AIDS research. You can help at red.org/thankyou
