SOS Week: Thank You

Note to readers from Pat Kiernan:
 
Thank you for all of your messages of support last week for “Pat’s Papers SOS.” Your responses, and particularly the action you took, mean a lot to us.

Most notably, we were able to double the number of subscribers to our daily e-mail version of Pat’s Papers. Traffic in all areas of the site was up last week, and we were contacted by several potential partners who have pledged to bring us advertising, traffic, or both.

For the short term there will be no change in the site while we explore these partnerships and what they might mean to the ongoing losses I incur in gathering and producing the Pat’s Papers content. I’ll make a decision by the end of January about whether the site will continue in its current form or be scaled back.

Thanks again for your loyalty and thanks to the Village Voice for this nice piece they put up on Friday.
