Introducing the Smartest Glove in Town

I know pink’s not my color. But I’m seriously considering a pair of these. I thought the New York Times had stumbled upon a great new trend after reading their Style section piece on fingerless gloves for texters in yesterday’s paper.

But today, they one-upped themselves, introducing readers to the Smartphone glove.  Oh and are they smart. Bucking tradition, some Smartphone gloves only allow two fingers to wiggle free—the all important thumb and index.  And when you’re done, you can button them right back up. Genius.

Others have gone a step further, embedding an electromagnetic dot into the finger pads of the thumb and index finger to allow for snug sending. They are even some constructed wholly out of conductive fabric to you can use your entire hand. If anyone is looking for a present for their favorite anchor, I’m just saying…
