Live! with Kelly Recap: Trump, Lady Sunglasses, Kids Instruments

I’m back at NY1 today after a two-day diversion on Live! with Kelly. It’s always tough stepping into an unfamiliar studio, but by Tuesday Kelly and I got into a rhythm.

Donald Trump’s interview was a great way to kick off the week on Monday. He’s provided me with dozens of headlines in my 15 years at NY1, so it was fun to chat with him without having to focus on a single news story. On Tuesday, our host chat segment included my exciting recap of a race to lock up a prime parking spot in Brooklyn and a discussion of the ups and downs of having a child bring a new musical instrument home.

Later, Kelly and I tried on the latest sunglasses. Kelly wasn’t convinced some of the styles selected for me were manly enough.
