A group of female WWII pilots who were recognized by the US government with Congressional Gold Medals was the top story today, with 12 of our top 30 putting coverage of the medal ceremony on their front pages. Unemployment rates that were higher than previously thought and which still haven’t peaked was on ten front pages, while a new House ban on federal earmarks for private businesses made headlines in seven.
