The top story today, with ten front-page headlines, was news that a runaway Prius in California has launched further investigations into faulty Toyota vehicles. Reports that an American woman, known as ‘Jihad Jane’, was arrested for aiding terrorism appeared on nine front pages, as did coverage of Vice President Biden’s trip to Israel, which was soured by an announcement of new Israeli settlements in a traditionally Arab part of Jerusalem.
