Tiger Woods apologizes for his ?transgressions? ? 27

Troop surge analyzed ? 21

Grammy nominees ? 11

As has been the case all week, the two most widely reported stories were the troop surge in Afghanistan and Tiger Woods’ car accident and alleged affairs. Woods’ public apology for his “transgressions” put him on top today with 27 front-page headlines, while analysis of the troop surge received 21. The Grammys will be very female-friendly this year reported 11 papers, with Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga each receiving numerous nominations.
