First Hands-On iPad Reviews Are In

Written by Pats Papers | Wednesday, 31 March 2010 10:11 PM

The Apple embargo has been lifted and the big name tech reviewers are in with their opinions of the iPad. It’s overwhelmingly good, with the negatives mostly being the things we already knew like no camera, no USB and no Flash.

In the New York Times, David Pogue writes two reviews. A skeptical one for the techies and another for everybody else. He writes: “If you like the concept, you’ll love the machine.”

In the Wall Street Journal, Walt Mossberg says it’s a pleasure to use.

And in USA Today, Ed Baig says it “largely lives up to the hype.”
