Brooklyn Storm: Dude, Oh My God! It’s Funneling

Let’s just say we won’t be playing the unedited soundtrack of this video on NY1. But the video is fantastic and the commentary is, well ... entertaining.

Two guys had their video camera rolling and were freely expressing their thoughts as the severe storm hit Brooklyn Thursday night. And even if the weather service hasn’t drawn a formal conclusion yet, they’re pretty convinced it was a “f**king tornado.”

The audio is not suitable for family viewing. And the commenter on YouTube was correct in comparing their reaction to the viral “Double Rainbow” clip.


Click here for the New York Times’ less, ahem, colorful assessment of the storm. The paper says the storm, which took the whole city by surprise, threw down “trees like sticks” and killed at least one person.
